Palu, Central Sulawesi (antaranes.com) - The national flag carrier Garuda is ready to transport tourists to Central Sulawesi where they can observe a total solar eclipse, forecast to occur on March 9, 2016.
"We are ready to fly both domestic and foreign tourists to Central Sulawesi where they can witness the rare and beautiful phenomenon of a total solar eclipse at numerous locations in the province," Garuda Sales Manager Aryo Darmawan said here Friday.
Garuda will increase the frequency of flights to Central Sulawesi to serve domestic and foreign tourists who want to observe the solar eclipse in the districts of Sigi, Poso, and Banggai, he said.
"Many tourists will go to Central Sulawesi for the total solar eclipse, and if extra flights are required, Garuda is always ready to do so," Darmawan noted.
Besides Garuda, other airline companies serving the Jakarta-Palu route are also ready to give their best possible service to tourists who want to go to Central Sulawesi. (BK03/O001)
